Vegan Baking 101!

It's an art, it's a science, it's a friggen mystery! How do you make vegan baked goods appealing to vegans and omnivores alike? I know it can be done, so let's learn how to do it together!

Where: mi casa 3968 SE Mall St. Unit A
When: 12/9/07 at 2pm
What: vegan cupcakes! Who doesn't love cupcakes?
What to bring: ~$2-5 please, to help defray the cost of groceries

Class is officially in session! Huzzah!

So I think, for now at least, this is how we'll do it:

If you are interested in teaching a class, or would like to propose a class that you're hoping someone else will want to teach simply send me an email at katie.cagle@gmail.com or post a comment on www.myspace.com/msfinchers. Include as much information as you can, including where the class will be held, how long you think it will run, whether it will be a one-time class or a series of classes, whether people should bring supplies/money etc. I will post all the information you give me to this site and the myspace.

If you are interested in joining a class just leave a comment on the blog or the myspace page to let the person or people leading the class know approximately how many people will show up.

At this point I'm also looking for people who would be willing to share administrative duties with me, like posting classes and dealing with any technical issues. If you're interested, please respond here or send me an email.

If you have any questions, or any ideas that could make Ms. Finchers even more AMAZING let me know!

Calling all Awesome Lads and Lasses

This is the main site for Ms. Fincher's Finishing School for Awesome Lads and Lasses, a community run free school open to everyone and anyone. At the moment everything is very experimental and informal, since we're brand new. Basically we're just a bunch of smart, awesome
people who want to learn from each other and teach each other in arad, supportive community environment. There are no set teachers or students at this school, only co-learners and partners. Everyone is free to teach. Everyone is free to learn.

Some suggested class topics include: german, history, bike maintenance, knitting, french, film, hula hoop making, yoga, pilates, driving stick shift, cooking, screenprinting, the politics and theories of genocide, vegan baking - the list goes on and on.

So what are you waiting for? Ms. Fincher's awaits your learning pleasure. Get your awesome on.
